7.9 billion units of rigid plastic are created in the beauty industry each year. By switching out  one shampoo bottle you could  reduce up to 550 million bottles of  plastic waste. Hibar shampoo is on a mission to get their consumers to switch to solid bar shampoo. This campaign  was created to align the use of bar shampoo with its liquid counterpart and open peoples mind to reducing their plastic waste in the shower.
The Illustration needed to be simple and feel effortless. I wanted to attract a side of the beauty industry that was carefree and expressive. I experimented with line weight and stroke until I found a style that felt fitting.

Bar shampoo has a reputation which made the tone of voice for this project a priority. It needed to relate to the consumer in a trusting and authentic way. By expressing potential bad experiences that the consumer may have had with other bar shampoo, the brand is showing that they understand something was wrong and they took the initiative to change it.
